Prozac in and Prozac out....

So it was the summer before, last 2008, I went to see Wanted with Angelia Jolie and James McIvor, when I came out of it, looking for my sunglasses, Rose said to me:

"Wow, Wanted was the bomb!"

I did not feel anything at all.

I was Prozac-ed out if it.

"The bomb ? What do you mean, it was so so?"

"Huh?" Rose said. "What do you mean?"

That was when I new I had to get off the Prozac as soon as I could.

It took me three months to do it. But the Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor made its mark, re-upping the Serotonin in my head, oh yhea, I had a Stroke.

But that is another story.

So when I was clean of the Prozac, this was 8 months after the Prozac, I went to see District 9.

I came out of the movie with my jaw dropping, I could not believe what I seen. It was too real. I will have to go see it again. It really hit me hard, to which I went :

"Thank you oh powers that be!!!!"

....him...now it is Sunday....

The Fiesta Children's Day Parade is over and now it is Sunday.

So two years ago all I could do was get the number from the parade and get it back to Ron for the announcement.

Last year I made it through giving the announcement with Ron but I was a wreck afterwords.

This year I was back where I was pre stroke, every thing was cool. Bye Bye Stroke. Thank you!

It was something else going thru the stroke and coming out the other side.  I guess at 46 time was one my side. Now that I am 49 we are just about done with it.

My lethargy was gone as of the June 10th, just gone. Now I have a month, Aug 8,  and it has yet to return.

I feel relaxed.

No Doubt

A white stage, loops going over it, a white screen behind them showing clips, live action, a boom box with the speaker going, and ND at the center of it. For a greatest hits show, they certainly delivered. We stood the whole time, bouncing the hits. I mean really bouncing.

They played ( an encore ) of Adam & The Ants : King Of The Wild Frontier
